Areteem Institute will participate in the 2026 Harvard MIT Math Tournament (HMMT) held Saturday February 14, 2026.  The contest will be held in-person at MIT. Each team consists of 8 students. There are a few requirements for participation:

• You must be in 12th grade or under.
• You must be in the Southern California region.
• The contest is held IN-PERSON at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. You are responsible to arrange your own travel and lodging.

The participation fee is $50 per student, including the registration fee for the contest (paid to the contest organizers), and the team T-shirt, totaling $50 .

The team selection will be done by Dr. Kevin Wang, based on past math contest performance, attendance of other Areteem events and programs, etc.  The deadline for registration with Areteem is Friday January 30, 2026 by midnight.

The contest is held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
