Areteem Institute will participate in the 2026 Stanford Math Tournament held April 17-18, 2026.  The contest will be held in-person at Stanford University.  We will have one team, consisting of 6 members.  There are a few requirements for participation:

• You must be in high school.
• If your high school is sending a team to SMT, you must participate with your school, not Areteem.
• To join Areteem team, you have to reside in Southern California, in Orange County, Los Angeles County, or one of the surrounding counties.
• The contest is held at Stanford University.  You are responsible to arrange your own travel and lodging.

The contest is held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 8am to 5pm Pacific Daylight Time, at Stanford University.  There are also activities on Friday evening April 17, 2026 for students to participate.

If you have not done so already, please fill out the Google form at https://forms.gle/7FB3Ms5wcGAEcurJ6 to tell us your name, grade, school, email, parent contact info, etc.

You should also:

• Sign up for an account at comp.mt, the contest portal for SMT.

The team registration of SMT is on a lottery basis, and we are not certain to be picked in the lottery yet.  The lottery process is expected to be in the first week of March, 2026.  After that we will send further information.  In case we are not selected and you have already paid the fee, it will be refunded, or used to join the SMT Online.

The cost for each student is $60, which covers the registration fee and some additional costs.  Please click “Add to Cart” to complete the payment of the contest fee (if you haven’t done so), putting the student’s full name in the order notes field.

• Paying $60 via Zelle to epay@areteem.org is also acceptable (in fact, Zelle is preferred).
